Where to eat in Zaragoza. "Tapeo"

El tubo

“El Tubo” is perhaps the most typical area in town to have “tapas”. It is located in the heart of the old part of Zaragoza.

“El Tubo” has always been a meeting point for local people and visitors. In 1955, the area had more than 90 bars. After some years of decadency, it has re-invented itself and it is flourishing again as it did at the beginning of the XXth century.

It spreads between calle Martires, Estebanes and Cuatro de Agosto.

University Zone

Close to the university, there is another area where you will be able to sample a wide variety of “tapas” and sandwiches. Do not miss the streets: Bruno Solano or Santa Teresa where you will be able to taste “sophisticated tapas” along with “vinagrillos” which will make the visit to this part of the city worth doing. .

Corte Inglés/Independencia

Right in the heart of the city you will find modern restaurants and bars for those of you who are looking for up-market places. Leon XIII, Francisco Vitoria and Jose María Lacarra are different streets for a good night out in town.
